I became a State Farm agent in 2006, after first joining the company in 2003 and learning the business from the ground up. Now I’m proud to serve the people of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area and communities all around Dallas-Fort Worth. My agency handles homeowners and renters insurance, auto insurance, life insurance, business insurance and more—including financial services.

I started my career as a statistician and later taught for a few years, both at the high school and college levels. I still enjoy sitting down with people and helping them understand the concepts that guide our recommendations, and I enjoy working with our customers to get them the coverage that fits their situation just right. I love being there for people—it’s my favorite thing about this job and the career I’ve chosen for myself. I’m always thrilled to know I’m making a real difference in someone’s life, especially during difficult or stressful times. We help you plan for both the expected and the unexpected—and when the unexpected happens, we’ll work to help you recover as quickly as possible.

I’m originally from Missouri, and I still enjoy getting back there to visit when I can. I earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Southwest Missouri State University, and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Georgia. I’ve continued my education as an insurance professional, earning the ChFC)and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations, and I’m always looking for ways to use my training to help our customers. On a personal note, I’m married with one daughter, one cat and three dogs—an affectionate golden retriever and two English Mastiffs. I’ve always been an animal lover at heart.
